Black Cats Pole is a recently formed pole performance group and student community for Black students at Muse Pole Fitness (that being students of Black/African/Afro-Latinx/African American heritage and identity.) The pole jam will be open to any Black students at Muse, whether you have taken 1 or 100 classes! This event will be a time for:

• Everyone to get to know each other

• Having fun around the pole (with safety and guidance)

• Ask any questions about Black Cats Pole or performing with Black Cats Pole

• Sharing your experiences in the pole community

This will also be a great time to gauge interest in future Black Cats Pole events (including our upcoming February showcase, dates TBD).

Black Cats Pole respectfully asks that this event only be attended by Black students as it is our time to feel safe and connected as a community.

Join us in our monthly Muse Nights @ Arch & Column Pub featuring the Muse Pole Fitness competition & performance team. Enjoy a series of freestyle pole performances in this event benefitting our talented team of performers. There is no cover fee, but tips are welcome and encouraged to help support the performers.

Muse Swap & Sell

Are you ready to clean out your closet and find some new favorites? Or new to pole dancing and looking to grow your collection? Join us for the Swap & Sell to give dancewear a second life, score some amazing finds, support a great cause, and connect with the Muse community! Check out the flyers for more info on shopping, swapping, and selling!

Just donating or trading without taking payment? No seller fee required

Planning to sell things? Seller fee of $10 can be paid via cash or Venmo on the day of the event. All seller fees will be donated to a local charity.

What items should I bring? Bring your gently used pole sets, bodysuits, heels, tights, kneepads, leg warmers, garters, and other performance or dancewear pieces to sell or swap. You can think of appropriate things to bring by asking “would I wear this to class or to perform?” Please don’t bring 10 trash bags full of clothes!
